Meet Aloe the cat. She hasn’t quite seen the appeal of the usual cat toys ever since she was a kitten. So she plays with hair ties, her most favorite things in the world.

One day, Aloe’s mom, Anne Tam, spotted her twisting on the floor in her attempts of reaching something.

Aloe had her paw outstretched under the washing machine, so her mom assumed that it may be a hair tie that was swept underneath.

So, Anne decided to help Aloe out.

Anne thought that Aloe was searching for just one hair tie under the washing machine. But when she got out a clothes hanger and stuck it underneath to fish for it, out came nearly 30 hair ties!

Aloe may have shown that she needed help, but she ended up accidentally revealing her hidden stash of hair ties!

While revealing her secret wasn’t the plan at all, she was excited to see her collection all out in the open.

So perhaps it all worked out in the end.

Anne shared, “When Aloe saw them, I think she was in heaven.”

Aloe had to sit for a while to admire her collection before she started excitedly pawing at all of them. Some even went flying back underneath the washing machine!

“It was a really hilarious sight to see,” said Anne.

Having her hidden stash revealed doesn’t stop Aloe from hoarding even more hair ties. They’re her most prized possessions after all.

Anne better watch out before she leaves any of her hair ties out in the open or they’ll add to Aloe’s growing collection!
