Coffee Milano Cafe in Middleborough, Massachusetts, introduced a delightful twist to the usual coffee run. A sign at the entrance announced, “Want a FREE COFFEE?? Walk in and give us your BEST Dance moves for 5 seconds!!” The catch? Your moves would be shared on social media. The response was nothing short of spectacular.

The cafe shared a TikTok video capturing the joyful scenes that unfolded after the sign went up. Set to Los del Río’s “Macarena,” the video begins with a woman who kicks off her shoes and dances with abandon. Others joined in with Irish jigs, waltzes, flossing, and even conga lines, showcasing an array of dance styles.

The cafe’s owner, Josh Rashid, shared that he was inspired by a pizza shop that offered free slices in exchange for a dance. “I was like, ‘This is genius,’” Rashid explained. After promoting the idea on Facebook and posting a sign at the cafe, he was thrilled to see the turnout. “We had probably 15, 20 people show up and dance for us,” he said. “It was kind of cool.” Rashid is delighted by the overwhelmingly positive feedback. “You know, life isn’t always easy,” he reflected. “Sometimes you just see something that puts the greatest smile on your face, and it brings tears to your eyes.”

With customers eager for more dance-for-coffee events, the cafe’s social media pages are already teasing the next opportunity. “Just keep dancing,” Rashid encourages. “Enjoy life. It’s short. It’s fun. We have good days, we have bad days, but sometimes a coffee and a dance makes it all better.”
