When Julia Davis from Birmingham, Alabama tried to feed her five foster kittens, she followed online advice and suited up in a jacket, gloves, and glasses.

However, her hungry feline crew leapt straight into action, swarming her and causing a hilarious dinnertime frenzy.

One kitten scaled her shoulder while the rest pawed at the tray of food, forcing Julia to abandon her serving plan and set the tray on the floor for a free-for-all feast.

“I fear wearing more clothes just gave their kittens more material to sink their little bean blades into,” Julia joked.

Julia fosters through Save Our Strays/Purrfect Love Cat Rescue and is devoted to finding these playful kittens their forever homes.

“Although they are extremely passionate at mealtime, they truly are the sweetest little babies,” she shared.

She encourages people to help in any way they can, from fostering to providing supplies or supporting shelters’ wishlists:

“There are ways to help kitties that don’t involve fostering. Fostering is awesome but it’s not in the cards for everyone and that’s okay!”
