A man from LaGrange, Georgia, has launched a brilliant campaign that lets people contribute to positively changing people’s lives at only $1 at a time.

Anthony Talley launched the $1 Thursday campaign as part of his mission to “change the world, one life at a time, $1 at a time.”

Anthony, who has always involved himself in serving the community, said that helping others gives him “an overwhelming joy.”

He then recently stepped it up even more to respond to the growing needs of the community over the past year.

Anthony posts the campaign’s weekly goal on his Facebook page during $1 Thursdays.

By asking strangers to donate just a dollar each, he was able to raise $8,000 last year for a local man who lost everything in a house fire.

Other recipients include kids who needed shoes and clothes. The campaign even provided ice cream for all elementary school students in the cities of Hogansville, LaGrange, and West Point!

Most recently, they’ve raised $576 so far for a mother of 10 kids who desperately needs a new car.

He wrote, “Remember the goal is to change the lives of others $1 at a time.”
