  • A bulldog named Noora grew up in a family who goes through a lot of balls.
  • With 350 tennis balls in her home, she has become so fond of only one ball at the bottom of the box.
  • Once she got her ball, Noora would become so protective of it.

Growing up around a bunch of Labs, a sluggish bulldog named Noora has become so fond of tennis balls — we mean, a particular tennis ball.

For some reason, Noora only wanted that one ball at the very bottom of the box, and she was happy with that choice.

Katie Swartout, Noora’s mom, told The Dodo that Noora loves when packages come.

“It started with BarkBoxes coming to the door, and the queen of the house deciding that every box that comes must be for her! When this box came, Noora immediately started crying for joy, and doing everything she could to get into the box!”

When Katie found a great deal on a box of 350 tennis balls, everyone in the family was so excited, including Noora.

When they opened the box, Noora swiftly flipped the box and dove all the way to the bottom of the box to find that one ball she apparently was looking for.

“She was so determined that there was something amazing at the bottom of the box, and couldn’t get to it quick enough,” Katie said.

Once Noora had chosen her ball, all the other balls, looking all the same, would be left out. She would even refuse to play with any of the others — acting like there was only one meant for her.

Katie shared that for a few hours, her dog had nothing to do with anything else but her ball. She even tended to be “very protective of her ball.” If other dogs would come near her, she would stand tall to show them what belongs to her.

Although Noora got bored of her sought-after ball over time, she still got giddy when she saw the box again.

“Noora has moved on to other toys, demonstrating she has the attention span of a 3-year-old, but when she sees the bin of tennis balls in the garage now, she still gets as excited as she did when the box first arrived,” Katie said.
