When Maui the golden retriever puppy was left with an accidentally unlocked crate, he surprised his owner by choosing rest over rambunctiousness.

Rather than exploring the house, Maui simply enjoyed his crate, stretching out in comfort and staying peacefully inside all night.

“We had only had him home with us for a week, and when I woke up and saw the door to the crate open, I had a mini heart attack,” the owner shared.

Checking the pet camera footage, the owner saw that Maui never even stood up when the door swung open, content to keep snoozing in his safe space.
