We’re going hog wild in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, over one of its most popular residents who has a unique and adorable talent. Meet Norbert, the skateboarding pig!

Now, you might think you’re seeing a “pig-ment” of your imagination when you spot Norbert cruising down the sidewalk on his skateboard. But let me assure you, it’s as real as can be! Norbert’s owner, Vince Baren, and his wife Alicen, adopted him three years ago from a farm in southern Michigan. And ever since then, Norbert has become quite the sensation in town.

Started introducing the commands like ‘on your board’ or ‘on your skateboard’ and sure enough, I started letting the skateboard roll a little bit,” shared Vince.

And now, Norbert is a pro skateboarder, showing off his skills and bringing joy to the residents of Buffalo Grove. He’s definitely not your typical pet, but he has stolen the hearts of the entire town with his unique talent and charming personality.

“He’s super, super smart. We don’t have any kids, but our whole house is baby proofed. It’s also kind of their way or the highway a little bit,” chuckled Alicen, Norbert’s loving owner.
