  • A vivid dream led Jeremy Schwartz to discover a serious heart condition just in time.
  • He underwent successful open-heart surgery and recovered swiftly.
  • Jeremy now encourages others to trust their intuition and seek timely medical advice.

Jeremy Schwartz’s unusual dream about dying from a heart attack inspired him to get checked by a cardiologist. Despite his active lifestyle and recent adventures, his intuition led to early detection of a dangerous aortic aneurysm.

After a series of tests, Jeremy had open-heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic’s London facility, which saved his life before he set out to climb a major mountain in Nepal.

“I’ve never had anything like a premonition before. But this dream was so strong and so clear that it left me with an overwhelming sense of importance and urgency,” Schwartz shared.

The procedure went smoothly, and hospital staff helped Jeremy start walking soon after the operation.

Dr. Cesare Quarto, his cardiac surgeon, remarked, “I strongly believe some patients have an internal alarm bell that starts ringing. Some are able to hear it, and some aren’t.”

Previous health clues—including a high blood pressure reading and losing a friend to a sudden heart attack—influenced Jeremy to listen to his inner warning.

“One of the challenges for men is we often delay taking important medical action,” Jeremy said. “A lot of these conditions are preventable or treatable if you catch them early.”

He urges everyone to prioritize their well-being: “If something feels wrong, it’s not clever or manly to pretend it isn’t. Don’t wait, don’t rationalize, don’t tough it out. Get it checked out. It’s how you get to keep living the life you love.”

Trusting intuition and taking proactive steps can make all the difference—share this message to inspire others to listen to their inner wisdom, too!
