  • Brewski the Labrador plays the recorder like a pro.
  • His talents include golfing, scootering, and fishing.
  • Brewski’s viral videos have millions of views and likes.

The internet is buzzing over Brewski, a Labrador retriever with some truly unique talents. His latest trick? Playing the recorder.

Brewski lives in Mississippi with his owner, Chance Crawford.

Crawford frequently shares videos of Brewski’s adventures, from playing golf to riding a push scooter and even fishing.

“Brewski can do it all,” Crawford, 30, proudly said.

“Play the flute, play golf, catch fish, he can even drive the zero turn lawn mower.”

Recently, a video of Brewski playing the recorder went viral.

In the clip, shared on Crawford’s TikTok account @heytakeachance on September 21, Brewski holds the recorder in his paws, giving short, sharp blows before switching to a longer note by holding it in his mouth.

Crawford, a self-employed handyman, is thrilled with the response to Brewski’s videos.

He believes the dog deserves the “recognition” for his intelligence.

Brewski has been part of Crawford’s family since his college days at the University of Mississippi.

“I didn’t choose Brewski, Brewski chose me,” Crawford said.

He recounted how he found Brewski as a puppy, caught on a fence after trying to escape his pen.

Crawford rescued him and alerted the homeowners.

Later, Brewski tracked Crawford over a mile back to his home, leading to another rescue and a revelation from the owners.

Their Lab had 12 puppies, and they were struggling to find homes for all of them.

They offered Brewski to Crawford, who happily accepted.

Since then, the two have been inseparable, with Crawford proudly calling Brewski “probably one of the smartest dogs in the world.”

Labrador retrievers are among the smartest dog breeds, according to research by Stanly Coren, author of *The Intelligence of Dogs*.

Coren’s research identified Labrador retrievers, along with border collies, poodles, German shepherds, golden retrievers, Doberman pinschers, and Shetland sheepdogs, as having the “highest working and obedience intelligence.”
