George Floyd’s death at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who pinned him down with a knee on his neck, has sparked protests across the country and the whole world in unison with the message: #BlackLivesMatter.
In a moving video of Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna, the little girl is being carried by former NBA star, Stephen Jackson, on his shoulders.
Gianna smiles and says, “Daddy changed the world!” as she throws her arms up with Jackson holding her hands!
The athlete posted the touching video on Instagram and a photo of him and “Gigi” together.
“That’s right GiGi ‘Daddy changed the world’ ???????????????????? George Floyd the name of change.#justiceforgeorgefloyd #ivehadenough Love to all who have love for all ✊????✊????✊????✊????✊????✊,” Jackson wrote in the caption of the clip.
He also promoted the GoFundMe page for Gigi which has earned more than its $500,000 goal after only a day.

Jackson and Floyd have been friends for a long time and they considered themselves as “Twin” before he died.
“Don’t worry Twin on my soul I got GiGi. Know dat. I am my brothers keeper and I got a lot of brothers. #justiceforgeorgefloyd #ivehadenough Rest Easy Twin,” Jackson said in the caption of his photo with Gigi.
Roxie Washington, Gianna’s mother, made a tearful statement with her daughter on Tuesday at the Minneapolis City Hall:
“I don’t have a lot to say, because I can’t get my words together right now,” she said. “But I wanted everybody to know that this is what those officers took. At the end of the day, they get to go home and be with their families. Gianna does not have a father.”
“He will never see her grow up, graduate, he will never walk her down the aisle,” she added. “If there’s a problem she’s having and she needs her dad, she does not have that anymore.”

I’m not sure they will “get to go home” anytime soon, either. All 4 have a target on their backs and will be a trophy to anyone taking them down. I’m glad Jesus didn’t require Peter to bow down to him or some movement before forgiving him.

Yall try to make a criminal in to a hero . The cops didn’t go after him for no reason . If they just picked him out of the crowd and did this then I’d be standing right beside you . But that’s not what happened and yall know it . We set our own path of event’s in life . We also have to pay for them . If you think color is what set this pattern … your wrong . Be a so called half breed myself I had my share of trouble , that being said I was the one taking that paths . I had no one to blame but my self . The NA had more shit happen to them then any of yall . But still I take good not evil . All this rioting and destroying for what . Y’all go out and rob and burn your neighbors building then in a few weeks you go there to shop and act like nothing happened . Attacking old people that had nothing to do with this crap , for what . It’s not to protest anything . It’s to rob and hurt . Stop that … act right and this crap won’t happen . Respect your self first , then you will learn to respect others . That’s how you become a hero in life . That’s all I have to say about that
