Giant Furry Dog Keeps Wandering to Walgreens

• Eleanor spotted a giant fluffy dog walking toward a Walgreens store while on the road.
• When she noticed there was no one running after the dog, she decided to follow her.
• Upon seeing her collar and calling her parents, she learned that the pup has always loved going to that pharmacy.

Eleanor Donahue spotted a strange scene while driving past her local Walgreens. She was on her way to her girlfriend’s house when she spotted a Great Pyrenees making her way to the pharmacy, even though the store was closed.

Eleanor waited to see her owner running behind her, but no one else appeared on the street by the time the dog turned into the parking lot.

So she decided to follow the dog into the parking lot and called out to her. The giant fluffy dog happily walked toward her and got into the car.

The friendly pup seemed delighted that she got herself inside the car that she drooled all over Eleanor!

Eleanor searched for a collar around the dog’s fur and found the tag “Luna.” When she called the number on it, she told Luna’s parents their location.

“I said, ‘I’m in the Walgreens parking lot.’ And I could hear them say under their breath, ‘Ugh, she loves that f***ing Walgreens,’” Eleanor shared.

Apparently, Luna had wandered over to that Walgreens branch many times before. Her mom said that the friendly pup loves people, so she loves the busy atmosphere there.

Luna’s mom told The Dodo, “One time, she made it into the vestibule before my husband caught her. And it’s right next to Magnificent Muffin, which means people AND food.”

Two minutes after the call, Luna’s parents arrived to pick her up.

Luna was happy with her adventure and Eleanor was equally happy to have met the friendly pup.

“I think of the slobber on my sweatshirt fondly,” Eleanor shared.

Luna’s parents now know where to find her if she ever wanders off again.
