Police Therapy K9 Befriends Polar Bear at Zoo

Quick Smiles:
- Police therapy dog forms an unusual friendship with a polar bear at an Ohio zoo.
- Therapy K9 Otto and Deputy Cox visited the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for a student’s project.
- The polar bear, Lee, took a liking to Otto, creating adorable and unexpected interactions.
An unusual friendship formed in Ohio when a police therapy dog took a trip to the zoo.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said therapy K9 Otto has a new friend — a polar bear named Lee.
“It looks like Therapy K9 Otto has a new friend,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
Otto and his handler, Deputy Cox, visited the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium last month to meet with a student enrolled in the career technical education zoo program.
The student Deputy Cox for her senior capstone project, the sheriff’s office said.
But the group got more than they bargained for when Lee, the polar bear, seemed to take a liking to Otto.
Hopefully the student gets some extra credit for the incredible photos!

It would be true love, except that they are divided by different elements.

If given the opportunity, that polar bear would eat that dog. Don’t be fooled by this article. That polar bear will eat you too!

Might look good for the picture, but that Polar would not think twice to eat the dog and you at the same time. Have seen them in action !!!!!
