Ryan Seacrest, the beloved Wheel of Fortune host, recently shared a glimpse of his new furry friend on Instagram. Earlier this month, he announced the addition of another dog to his pack, and fans couldn’t be more excited!

On Monday morning, Seacrest visited his former show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, where he chatted with hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos about his new pup, Olio. When asked about any new additions to his love life, Seacrest took the opportunity to share more about his adorable puppy. “Yes, he speaks Italian,” he joked. “Yes, he loves marinara, and he’s named after olive oil.”

Curious about how Seacrest’s older dog, Georgia, felt about the new addition, Consuelos asked for her reaction. Seacrest playfully responded, “Georgia rolled her eyes for a couple of months. And now they’re close.” He also mentioned that Georgia is “getting up there.”

Ripa then humorously inquired if Olio was a truffle-hunting dog. Seacrest replied, “I haven’t entered Olio into the school yet at the training of language school truffle hunting, you know.” He confirmed that Olio doesn’t actually speak Italian, but with some help from Consuelos, he might start commanding Olio in Italian soon.

Seacrest first shared photos of Olio and Georgia on Instagram on February 1st. In the caption, he joked, “Your regular reminder of how much I love EVOO… Introducing our newest family member – Olio!” The delightful photos show Seacrest holding the new puppy in his lap, grinning from ear to ear. Another picture features his niece with both Georgia and Olio, spreading joy and happiness all around.
