A delightful moment captured on Instagram is spreading joy across the internet. The video features a Bengal cat named Toshi, who has claimed his husky brother Nuki’s bed as his own.

The amusing footage shows Toshi comfortably snoozing in the middle of the bed, while Nuki, the significantly larger husky, sits awkwardly in the corner.

Nuki, despite being approximately five times larger than Toshi, comes across as a gentle giant. He refrains from nudging the cat out of his way, demonstrating his gentle nature.

The video, which was shared on the Instagram account @bengal_cat_toshi14, has garnered over 640,000 views since it was posted on March 14. The caption reads, “Definitely a depresso moment. We are so lucky that Nuki turned out to be an amazing big brother!”

In the comments section, the pet owner shared that Nuki was “so confused.” The owner further explained, “This was during a time when he wasn’t sure if he was supposed to be this close to Toshi so for him to be on his bed he was like ‘mum is this ok?’”

According to the American Kennel Club, male Siberian Huskies can weigh between 45 to 60 lbs and stand between 21 to 23.5 inches tall. On the other hand, a Bengal cat, like Toshi, weighs no more than 11 pounds, as per Hill’s Pets Nutrition.

Despite their size difference, the Bengal cat and the husky have formed a strong bond. Hill’s Pets Nutrition states, “The Bengal cat is actually very sweet and loving, despite the fact that many people think of it as a wild cat that just acts domesticated. The Bengal breed is devoted to its people and forms strong bonds with them. The Bengal cat is an athletic, large cat that gets satisfaction from running, jumping, and playing. These cats are alert and inquisitive.”

This bond is evident in other videos of the pair, where they are seen walking together in picturesque settings, both on leashes. However, it seems Toshi still has some lessons to learn about sharing a bed.
