Huskies are known for being one of the most vocal dog breeds, but sometimes they can surprise you with their quiet demeanor. One dog owner recently shared her experience adopting the “quietest” husky of the litter, and things didn’t exactly go as planned.

The hilarious story was shared on TikTok. The video shows the pup, Tikanni, being well-behaved right after being adopted, followed by a clip of him now, singing his heart out all day long. The caption reads: “POV: You bring home the ‘quietest’ puppy of the litter… My husky now.” Followed by: “Someone got played.”

The dog owner said, “Tikanni was ‘quiet’ until he learned he had a voice! And that voice was loud. When we brought Tikanni home at 9 weeks old, he quickly learned to howl from his older sister Kita, but he took it to a whole new level. As he got older his howl or should I say ‘scream’ amplified. And he’s never looked back again.”

She added, “Tikanni is definitely not the quiet one. He’s the loudest of the pack, and he makes sure to share his scream howls daily.” According to AskVet, huskies communicate through a variety of sounds that they might associate with certain needs. Sometimes they just want to express their love, while other times they may be asking to be let out.
