Grumpy Roadside Critter Turns into Unlikely BFF for Good Samaritan!

Quick Smiles:

  • A ‘grumpy’ skink found on the road gets a helping hand to safety.
  • The skink warms up to her rescuer, allowing him to give her a few gentle head scratches.
  • Rescuer, Fullerton, ends up making an unexpected friend in the process.

So, here’s the scoop. Our guy, Fullerton, was just minding his own business when he stumbled upon a rather disgruntled skink in the middle of the road. Instead of walking away, he decided to lend a hand (or rather, a stick) to move the tiny creature to a safer spot.

The skink, initially a little peeved, seemed to have a change of heart. She must have realized that Fullerton was just trying to help. “Aw, what a little legend,” Fullerton remarked, clearly impressed by his new scaly acquaintance.

As if understanding his words, the skink softened up. She even allowed Fullerton to give her a few gentle head scratches. Talk about going from zero to hero!

With that, Fullerton’s encounter with the “angry” skink had a happy ending. He managed to save her from potential danger and, in the process, made a new friend.
