When it comes to welcoming a new member of the family, it can be a hit-or-miss reaction for the previous only child. They can react with excitement for having a new companion, or with jealousy for the shared attention. For one pit bull, however, it was absolute terror.

In a hilarious video shared on TikTok, a 1-year-old American pit bull named Uzi can be seen running away from his newly introduced sibling, a tiny Pomeranian puppy.

Uzi couldn’t help but run away from the tiny creature.

And when he tried to get back inside, he was too afraid to cross his path! He just stood there at the doorway, refusing to look at his tiny sibling.

He just kept staring at his owners as if to say, “Aren’t you going to do anything?”

One commenter pointed out that Uzi may have wanted to remain an only child, joking, “He didn’t ask for a sibling.”

Others came to Uzi’s defense and said that tiny dogs are usually the meanest.

Perhaps he’ll eventually warm up to his tiny sibling. Just take a look at how adorable this little fluffball is!

One commenter predicted, “Few months, they will be best friends.”

While Uzi’s first reaction may suggest it could take longer than that, no one can know for sure. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
